The two major types of terpenes found to support sleep tend to be Myrcene and Linalool. Other terpenes that have similar properties are Humulene and Beta-caryophyllene, and when consumed in combination with low levels of THC, can enhance the sleep-induction properties of THC. In addition to the amount of THC consumed, the amount of time to consume(s) the substance, and personal tolerance level also affect sleep characteristics. Too much THC consumption may actually produce the opposite reaction: preventing sleep.
