In many instances, flowers will contain naturally occurring terpenes; however, producers may choose to include botanical (or cannabis derived) terpenes to restore aroma after processing extracts, vapes, and sprayed flowers. For any added terpenes to be considered of the highest quality, they should be produced using food-grade methods, tested for inhalation safety, and have laboratory confirmations.
